Missed Shows

Last night I regrettably wasn't able to attend Proenza, because I was starting to feel like I caught the “fashion flu.” I did and I am thinking it's a 24 hour thing, because I am just now starting to feel better and rally to go to the Calvin Klein dinner, at least for a half hour or so.
I sat in my hotel room today and looked at all of the shows that I had to miss online. Oscar de la Renta was off the charts magnificent. I cannot wait to get my hands on those clothes to place them in every shoot, on every red carpet imaginable, because it was all-out young girl glamour. It blows my mind how Oscar can do it year, after year, after year. He is the maestro. Every dress he makes is a piece of art. I managed first thing this morning, to look at Proenza online, and what a show I missed! It was spectacular. Every girl who loves fashion, or even doesn't love fashion, is going to want a piece of that collection. They somehow managed to mix tomboy cool with skateboarder-surfergirl and the glam and the hair and the makeup was just young and fun and amazing. Something effortless about the entire collection, I want it all.
I'm sorry that I can't speak more about shows today but I was down for the count. I missed Ralph Lauren, I missed Calvin Klein, and I missed Phi, which I was really excited to see. I really enjoyed sharing my fashion week experiences. Thank you! Until the next fashion week!
