Narciso Rodriguez: Light and Right

Narciso Rodriguez tapped into this season's trend for light and airy clothes with a collection of soft, sleek silhouettes in a monochrome palette of black, white, gray and some photographic prints that mimicked rain. His usual brilliant cut and experimentation with shape showed up in short flowing organza jacquard tank dresses that were fitted around the collar and blossomed out at the hem. He always shows a skinny pant too and this season he gave it a gauzy top to lighten up last season's heavy bondage look. I also loved the way the last three evening dresses fluttered out in an asymmetrical hem--short in front and long and billowing in back. Courtney Love and Jessica Alba both in the front row and both working their sexy black Narciso dresses for the paps.
