Anne Hathaway's Dad is Here

Backstage after the Emporio Armani show this afternoon, I was poking around, looking for Mr. Armani (it was hard to find him in the crush of school girl-ish models in mini-skirts and knee socks), when I bumped into his niece Roberta who is in charge of dressing all the celebs in Armani. I told her how great Anne Hathaway looked at the Oscars in Armani Prive and she immediately introduced me to Gerard Hathaway, Anne's dad, who was in town taking in the show. Would his daughter be front row at the Giorgio Armani Black Label show tomorrow? He just laughed and said "Nah, she's in L.A., acting like a slug and taking a much-needed break."
